🖤💙 COMMUNITY NOTICE | HONORING DEPUTY TERRIAN BAILEY 💙🖤

Beginning tomorrow, Thursday, September 10, the Claiborne County Sheriff’s Office will provide our community with a special place to show their love, support, and condolences as we continue to mourn the loss of our brother, Deputy Terrian Bailey, who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

One of the trucks recently donated to the Claiborne County Sheriff’s Office through the generosity and support of Supervisor Coney Dorsey and Supervisor George Hudson will be placed outside the Sheriff’s Office and dedicated as a temporary community memorial in honor of Deputy Bailey.

The memorial will be available to the public beginning tomorrow and will remain in place through the day of Deputy Bailey’s funeral.

We invite citizens, businesses, churches, law enforcement partners, friends, and families to stop by and leave cards, flowers, handwritten messages, ribbons, or other expressions of love and support on or around the truck.

This memorial gives our community a place to stand with Deputy Bailey’s family and his brothers and sisters in uniform and to show that his life, service, and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

We sincerely thank Supervisor Coney Dorsey and Supervisor George Hudson for their donation and continued support of our department.

The City of Port Gibson extends our deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, fellow officers, and loved ones of Deputy Terrian Bailey.

We honor Deputy Bailey for his courage, dedication, and commitment to protecting and serving the citizens of Claiborne County. His sacrifice will forever be remembered, and his legacy of service will remain a part of our community.

During this difficult time, the City of Port Gibson stands united with the Claiborne County Sheriff’s Department and all those whose lives were touched by Deputy Bailey.
