The Wood'n Wheel Family Fun Center Founders Dorothy and Albert "Butch" Sorbello Sr. opened the roller rink in October 1974 as a vision for first-class family entertainment during the height of the roller skating and disco craze.

Son Bud Sorbello grew up with the business and eventually took over
expanding the venue over the decades.
Activities: Roller and inline skating, laser tag, bumper cars, an arcade, rock climbing, and seasonal outdoor additions like their Water Zone

🇺🇸 TONIGHT AT 6:00 PM: 25TH ANNIVERSARY 9/11 REMEMBRANCE 🇺🇸

Please join Port Ewen Volunteer Fire Department at the firehouse (161 Broadway) tonight at 6:00 PM for our rescheduled 9/11 memorial service as we gather to honor and remember the heroes lost 25 years ago.

Following the ceremony, the Port Ewen Fire Dept Ladies Auxiliary will be providing light snacks and beverages.

We hope to see a large turnout tonight as our community comes together. We will return to our traditional September 11th date next year.

This year marks 25 years since the horrific events of September 11, 2001. To honor this milestone, the community is coming together for two powerful days of remembrance.
Please note our adjusted schedule for this year's services:

To accommodate a unified county-wide memorial, our schedule has been adjusted for this year only.

We encourage all residents, families, and neighbors to attend both events to pay tribute to the lives lost 25 years ago.
