During this time, the North Coast Inland Trail will remain open, however patrons are encouraged to exercise caution when in the area of the tree trimming. Thank you to Betsy White Slotnick for dedicating over three years as a member of our five-person Board of Park Commissioners. Betsy has provided outstanding leadership, thoughtful decision-making, and dependability throughout her years on the Park Board. Her dedication has strengthened our organization and provided foundational support as we've worked to develop our newly operational Park District. We are so grateful!

Our Board serves as governance for the Park District regarding funding and finances, policies, strategic planning, projects and more. Board members are appointed by the Honorable Judge Hany and serve three-year unpaid terms.

The warm weather is sticking around, and so are the mosquitos. Before you head outdoors, use a mosquito repellent to increase your comfort and help prevent bites. Thank you to the County Health Department for delivering a generous donation of mosquito repellents to Shores & Islands Ohio and the Park District. Pick up your free supplies at our offices, 770 SE Catawba Rd., in Port Clinton, anytime Monday-Friday between 9AM-5PM, and Saturdays between 9AM-2PM. Questions about mosquitos in our area?
