Spotted in the field! 👀 Our sewer lines crew inspect manholes located in rights-of-way and utility easements to help keep the wastewater system working smoothly.

Help by keeping manholes clear and accessible. 🕳️ Avoid placing plants, landscaping, debris, sheds, fences or other items over or around manholes so staff can safely access them when needed.

🚽 Pink stains in your toilet? It's not the water. Pink residue is caused by a common airborne bacteria that grows in moist areas, especially bathrooms. Regular cleaning helps to prevent buildup. ✨

More than just a place for activities like boating and fishing - rivers provide the community's most vital resource. 95% of our drinking water comes from the Peace River 🌊 Stretching over 100 miles from Polk County south to Charlotte Harbor, this important natural resource gives us many reasons to celebrate . 💧
