The Coconut Castaways of Southwest Florida is a non-profit organization, formed in January 2013, which is based in Port Charlotte, Florida. You can join, no matter where you hang your flip flops! We are a chapter of the original Coconut Castaways, formed in Des Moines, Iowa in 2007. We raise $ throughout the year for various community organizations. Our special loving project, The KOA Care Camps, these camps provide some fun time in the sun, for kids who have cancer. The camp in Florida is located in Eustis, Florida. Last year more than $25,000 was raised for ALL the camps, during the annual Meet Me In the Keys Event. This event is only open to Castaways Members. When you're having fun, you might as well give back! Our monthly gatherings, named, "Jump Up", are where members, friends and visitors get together to relax and socialize. Due are $20/year for a single membership and $35 for a membership for two people. Membership is open to anyone 21 years or older.
