Another great weekend to be a Riverdale Ram!

First off, we want to give a special shoutout to our high school baseball team for their roller coaster Regional Championship win over Byron earlier today!

Please help us celebrate the accomplishments and state medal earnings of our high school boys track team tonight as they will be returning from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston. We will be doing a parade through town beginning around 7:15 pm tonight. They will start at Enright’s car wash in Rapids City then head down to south main in Port Byron before ending at the schools.

Today your Riverdale Rams rocked the I-74 corridor, starting with a Softball Regional Championship shutout win over Sherrard. The State Series success continued throughout the day at the IHSA Girls' Track State Finals at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston and the MS Boys' and Girls' Track State Finals in East Peoria.

Because their State Final Meets fell on the same day, please help us celebrate our many Track State Medalists by welcoming both HS and MS teams home from their State Meets tonight at 7:30 PM!

The teams will be arriving at Enright’s Car Wash in Rapids City around 7:30 PM (Saturday). They will drive through downtown Port Byron (S. Main Street) and up to RHS and RMS with an emergency vehicle procession.

Come out TONIGHT around 7:30 PM to show your support and congratulate our many track state medalists from this weekend!
