The Gift of Life Program will be hosting FREE Men's Healthcare Screenings twice in June and twice in July.

Dates and locations are as follow:

Saturday, June 13th-Lumberton Performing Arts Center
Saturday, June 27th-City of Port Arthur Health Department
Saturday, July 11th-Orange Baptist Campus Hospital Lobby
Saturday, July 25th-Lamar Institute of Technology (LIT) Multipurpose Center.

Appointments begin at 9:00 a.m.

Walk-Ins Welcome.

Lamar State College-Port Arthur is partnering with Region 5 Education Service Center to host GED services on their campus.

The campus will host a GED Workshop on Thursday, May 28th form 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Madison Monroe Building, Room 215.

FREE GED Prep Classes will start on June 1st. Enroll by contacting the Student Success Center on Lamar State College-Port Arthur's campus at (409) 951-1771.

Additionally, Lamar State College-Port Arthur will be running a special summer promotion: Buy One Course, Get the Second Course Free. Students simply need to apply, register for classes, and they will be contacted with additional details regarding the promotion.
