Yesterday was one of the busiest and most rewarding days I’ve had in a long time.

My day started at the runoff election polls and then shifted to the opening of my new restaurant, Cajun Cowbeauxs, during the lunch rush. I even had the opportunity to jump back into the kitchen and help our outstanding line cooks. As someone who worked the line more than 25 years ago, I had to prove to myself that I could still keep up with this new generation of cooks, and I’m happy to say I held my own!

After lunch, it was back to the polls until 5:00 PM, followed by our evening launch celebration at the restaurant.

I want to sincerely thank Mayor Charlotte Moses, Constable Chris Bates, Judge Bartie, Terry Savoy, Glen White, and the many others who took time out of their day to come by and show their support. Your encouragement means a great deal to me.

It was a very successful day, but also a very labor intensive one. Whether it's running a business, serving customers, or working with the community, I believe in leading by example and putting in the work. If elected, I intend to represent the citizens of District 3 with that same dedication, energy, and hands-on approach.

We will be at the polls again today from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Every vote matters, so please make your voice heard and make your vote count. 🗳️
