Great day for the Joyce Blackberry parade. The American Legion Riders from Port Angeles post 29 lead the parade again this year. 12 riders on 8 bikes. Lots of pie and ice cream, fun, fun, and more fun. Nice to see all the Vets reconized, plus the many other floats, school teams and vehicles.

Today 10 American Legion Riders and 4 Marine Corps League members stood a flag line for Marine Patrick Bartlett's memorial. Patrick served in Viet Nam at Da Nang.

9 of us rode over to Port Townsend to help out with the Veteran Stand down. A great way to help fellow vets.

Kelly Thomas put together a wonderful flagline to show our respect for Sgt. Logan Hall and his family. I think more than 30 flags lined the two streets that the hearse carrying Sgt. Hall passed through. There were many other friends and well wishers there also. Thanks to Gary Bruner, Russ Tucker, Norm Goodin, John & Maryann Wrightson, Ralph Ellsworth, Tracy Boutwell , Paul Latimer, Noel Murray ,Sam Klippert and Kelly Thomas from our group. If I missed anyone I'm sorry. It was a sevreal hour trip for the hearse from the airport, so it was a guess what time to set up the flagline. Not everyone got notififed, sorry we did what we could. Super American Legion Meeting tonight, 28 people voted in the next years officers. The riders had 2 3day fun runs and many memorial missons this past month. What a great bunch of people to be around......
