Did you know here at PenCom Dispatch (Peninsula Communications) we handle all of the emergency and non-emergency lines for our county (Clallam) including police, fire and EMS as well as the business lines for each agency we work with?
Do you know when to use the non-emergency lines versus 911 and what numbers to call?

IT TAKES A COUNTY.

We are so grateful for the many agencies that we partner with to serve our community. These are our partners who answer each time we dispatch them, call out to them, and send tones to (even waking them in the middle of the night, right after they've fallen asleep for the 10th time).

We are grateful to those who respond kindly when we show that we are only human by the weight of the calls we carry or the exhaustion of the hours we wear like our badge.

We are thankful to those we get to share our time with. Many of us have become like a close-knit family over the years and these relationships only continue to grow and flourish.

We could not be prouder to serve side by side with these brothers and sisters. It would not work without you so THANK YOU.

IT TAKES A WHOLE COUNTY.

This coming week of April 12th-18th is National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week.

This week especially, we’ll be celebrating our wonderful team here at PenCom along with those at countless other centers around us. These telecommunicators or dispatchers are the unseen heroes who answer every call, one after the other, no matter the hour, emergency or crisis level. They are the calm voices behind the chaos. 💛

Thank you for your service to our community. We appreciate you.
