Temporary Road Closure, posted June 16 at 2:30 p.m.

Heads up! Pine Street is currently closed between 14th Street and 16th Street while emergency crews respond to a structural fire in the area. There is no threat to neighboring residents.

Please plan your travel accordingly. If you are located south of 8th Street and need to access Pine Street or Cedar Street, please do so from 8th Street. To access Black Diamond Road, please use the Pine Street Extension and travel south from 16th Street.

On Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave individuals who gave their lives in service to our country.

City offices will be closed on Monday, May 25, in observance of the holiday. To report an outage or utility-related issue while offices are closed, please call our After-Hours Line at (360) 417-4726.

Garbage and Yard Waste Collection will remain on regular schedule.

As always, emergency services remain fully operational. If you experience an emergency, please call 9-1-1.

In observance the holiday, City of Port Angeles offices, including City Hall, the Port Angeles Senior & Community Center and Regional Transfer Station, will be closed on Monday, May 25.

Meet Community Paramedic Brian Gerdes, one of the faces behind Operation Shielding Hope.

This program was launched in 2024 as a coordinated partnership between police, fire, and community organizations with a focus on reducing overdose fatalities, preventing repeat overdoses, and connecting survivors with care at the point of crisis.
