In today's world, would $60,000 to $100,000 (for income) + $120,000 for college actually make your life better if you only had to serve 3 to 4 years in the U.S. Army?

Got to give a shout out to this young man who seems to never stop smiling - PFC Robert Smith, a graduate from Forks High School (Home of the Spartans) who enlisted into the US Army (back in February), but recently graduated Basic Training out in Fort Sill Oklahoma! Now on to job training in the Air-Conditioning... outdoor air conditioning... he's going to be sweating in all reality, but on to the next journey in his Army life, learning how to maintain the Army Missile Corps.

Crooked n' lazy Army Recruiters? Not at the Port Angeles Army Recruiting Station. Last week Sequim Senior High's very own Dean Rynearson & his father went with me to Joint Base Lewis-McChord to see what a day in the life of an Army Flight Warrant Officer consists of. We were also able to witness, interact, and question their daily activities/responsibilities (such as paperwork, PT, ... more paperwork, some flight time...). Dean was also able to interview multiple Flight Warrant Officers to discover routes that would best suit his strengths and time frames.

Plus he got to sit in and operate an Apache flight simulator...

If you've ever had questions about a certain job (MOS) in the U.S. Army and you'd like to personally see what a soldier, warrant, or officer actually does in person (plus hear their experiences and stories), give me a shout and I can make it happen (within reason).

Like I've said in previous posts - I'd rather you walk away from an interview with me informed, than enlist/contract into a position that does not support your future wants, dreams, and professional track to success.

BigHurt2021!! This had to be one of the most fun events I have particpated in since COVID wrecked everything. Our team went from 4 members to 2 due to a baby being born and a walrus/skiing incident. I had to ride the mountain bike course with road tires and a borrowed helmet and 0 knowledge of the course. None the less, our now Duo team competed in the Teams event and solidly enough, we didnt take last! Next year will be our year for top ten in Teams…

We are currently seeking physically fit and mentally strong individuals for matriculation into The 75th Ranger Regiment. The U.S. Army’s 75th Ranger REGT is the premier large-scale special operations force comprised of some of the most elite Soldiers in the world.

You must be willing to endure 10 weeks of basic, 4 to 52 weeks of AIT (MOS Training), 3 weeks of Airborne School, 4-6 weeks of RASP prep, and 8 weeks of Ranger selection (RASP).

Completion of RASP does not guarantee entry into Regiment.

MUST NOT HAVE felonies, DUI's, domestic/assault/battery charges, and no possession of any illegal substances.
