Please have your payments postmarked or received by next Thursday.

Call us - 360 417 2344 if you need an updated balance, or visit our website for instructions on how to submit an online payment (fees apply).

**USPS recent changes DO NOT GUARANTEE your payment will be post marked upon pick up/drop off. Items are now post marked at the central mail center. This could mean 1-2 days after they recieve your mail. Please send early to avoid additional interest! We cannot waive interest for items post marked after April 30.

Our lobby will be closed from 9am to 1pm on Thursday, March 19 for mandatory all-staff in-service training with the Washington State Department of Revenue.

We appologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

If you happen to visit us during this time, you may submit tax payments in our locked drop box located in the Courthouse roundabout, or directly outside our office doors. If you would like a receipt mailed to you, please indicate so on your sealed envelope and we will be happy to provide one to you during this closure.

Please, do not place cash in the drop box.

Congratulations to Lisa Middleton, our Fiscal Specialist III (Personal Property Specialist), on successfully completing her 1yr probation in our office! 🎉 Lisa came to us from the Assessors office at the end of 2024, and has been an incredible asset to our team. Lisa goes above and beyond for all Clallam County Citizens and we are happy to have her, helping to serve all of you!

As the holiday season draws near, we would like to notify you of the minor adjustments to our office access over the next week.

Christmas and New Years Eve: Our lobby will close at 12pm, cashier services (deposits and change) will close at 1pm, and Simplifile will maintain its regular closing time of 2:30pm. We expect reduced staffing in the afternoons on these days.
Christmas & New Years Day - CLOSED.

Our office will be closed to the public during this time in order to attend mandatory in-service training provided by the Washington State Department of Revenue.

We will reopen our doors immediately following the training session.

Tomorrow, 11/13/2025 at 4:30pm is the deadline for any remaining foreclosure properties to be redeemed by the owner of record. This means the foreclosure payment MUST BE POSTED in our system by 4:30pm, as the foreclosure sale opens 11/14/25 at 9am, WE CANNOT ACCEPT POSTMARKED PAYMENTS RECEIVED AFTER TOMORROW.

If you or someone you know is in tax foreclosure, please encourage them to come into the office so we can receipt their payment and notify the Court that they have redeemed the property to stop the sale.
