Happy Memorial Day to all of our residents, families, and visitors.

Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. Their courage, dedication, and love for this nation will never be forgotten. Because of their selfless service, we are blessed with the freedoms we enjoy each and every day.

As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, let us also take a moment to reflect on the true meaning of this day and keep the families of our fallen heroes in our prayers.

On behalf of the City of Port Allen, thank you to all who have served and continue to serve our nation. May God bless our veterans, our military families, and the United States of America.

Happy Memorial Day,
Mayor Terecita Pollard Pattan
