Learning starts with curiosity! 🌟
This week, our PreK classroom dove into sensory exploration. By engaging their sight, hearing, touch, taste, and smell, students aren't just having fun—they’re building essential vocabulary, observation skills, and scientific thinking! Here are students exploring using their senses.

💡 Try this at home: Take a 5-minute "Sensory Walk" in your backyard or neighborhood! Ask your child to point out 3 things they can hear, 2 things they can feel, and 1 thing they can smell.

We’re excited to announce that applications for the LAFORCE Focus & Finish Scholarship are officially open!

LAFORCE will award three scholarships of up to $5,000 each to eligible parents of children ages infant through 4 years old who are within 1–2 semesters of completing an associate degree, first bachelor’s degree, career or technical diploma, Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, or other eligible career credential.

Scholarship funds can be used toward approved education-related expenses to help parents overcome financial barriers and cross the finish line!

Applications are open August 26–September 4, with a deadline of 3:00 PM on September 4.

Mrs. Fair and Ms. Annette’s friends have officially completed their phase-in days and are READY for their first day all together tomorrow! 💛📚
Their highlight was reading The Kissing Hand and creating a special handprint keepsake to remember their first days of school. 🖐️❤️
We are so proud of our little learners and can’t wait to see all the fun and learning tomorrow! 🥰🎉
