S.W. Smith Memorial Public Library The library serves residents of Port Allegany & Eldred Boroughs, Annin, Liberty, & Eldred Townships. S.W.

Smith Memorial Public Library is a free public library serving residents of Port Allegany Borough, Annin Township, Liberty Township, Eldred Borough, and Eldred Township in McKean County, PA. In addition, we provide Inter-library Loan services which provide patrons with materials from other libraries upon request. We operate through a combination of local government and state subsidies, donations and memorials from patrons and community groups, and regular fundraisers. A dynamic Library Board of Trustees is instrumental in helping to provide additional funding and materials.
