Draft plan materials from the May 26, 2026, open house are now available for review, including information on existing conditions, goals and objectives, and future land use place types.
Residents and stakeholders may review the materials and provide input through the official feedback form and community survey.

⚾️ Pearl River Community College continues to dominate on the national stage! Congratulations to the PRCC baseball team for winning the 2026 NJCAA DII National Championship! Even more remarkable: just like in softball, they were the only undefeated team in the baseball World Series. Pearl River County is so proud of you all and your dedication!

🥎 Let’s bring a warm welcome home to our Pearl River Wildcats Softball team this afternoon at 3:15 PM! Follow the Pearl River Community College page as they bring any weather-related updates as we welcome our 2026 NJCAA Division II National Champions back home! 🐾

UPDATE!!

📣 Rain or shine, we are ready to celebrate the Pearl River Wildcats Softball team, your 2026 NJCAA Division II National Champions, at 3:15 p.m.! 📣

Pictured below is a map showing where fans need to be! Fans should enter through the North Entrance in front of the Career Tech Building and line up in front of the Automotive part of the Career Tech Building. Fans are asked to follow behind the bus as the team makes their way to the Softball Field for the Wildcat Champion Celebration! 🏆

The celebration will take place at the softball field or, if weather becomes a factor, inside the softball hitting facility.

Bring your posters, pom-poms, and wear your best Wildcat gear as we celebrate this team and the first national championship in program history! 🐾

*5PM UPDATE* - The sandbag pickup location will shut down at 6PM today.

*IMPORTANT UPDATE TO SANDBAGS FOR PICAYUNE RESIDENTS*

Public Works is back at the City Maintenance Barn today to give out sandbags again, May 26. They will start at 9:30 AM and continue until further notice. The maintenance barn is located at 309 Stephens St. Please bring proof of residency.

In the program's first-ever NJCAA Division II World Series appearance, Pearl River completed a perfect run through the bracket and captured the first National Championship in school history, defeating No. 9 Des Moines Area 2-1 inside Brinkley Stadium.

📣 Pearl River County is excited to announce the official launch of a new online permitting portal through MyGovernmentOnline (MGO)!

Beginning this week, contractors, residents, and businesses will be able to apply for building permits, manage projects, request inspections, make payments, and access documents online through the new MGO Connect platform.

✅ Submit applications online
✅ Track permit and project status
✅ Request inspections
✅ Pay fees electronically
✅ Access permits and receipts anytime
✅ Manage everything from one convenient dashboard

As with any new system rollout, we appreciate everyone’s patience during the transition as staff and users become familiar with the new platform. Our goal is to provide a more efficient, modern, and user-friendly experience for the community.
