Beyond a Venue — We’re a Charity.

The Bloodworth House is more than a beautiful historic venue. We are a registered 501(c)(3) charity, a house museum, and the charitable headquarters for programs working to create lasting impact in our community.

Every wedding celebrated, event hosted, tour given, and venue rental helps support our mission. Those funds help preserve this remarkable home and sustain the charitable work headquartered here. But venue revenue alone cannot carry the full responsibility of preserving a house museum for future generations.

Historic preservation is ongoing. Gardens must be maintained. Collections preserved. The home protected. Its story carried forward.

This Memorial Day, The Bloodworth House pauses to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Because of their sacrifice, we enjoy the freedoms we hold dear, gather with loved ones, celebrate life’s milestones, and preserve the history and traditions that shape our communities.

As a historic house museum and charitable headquarters, we are especially reminded of the importance of preserving the stories, legacies, and values left for future generations.
