Rally Time:
We are having a rally on Wednesday, (tomorrow) April 28th, Worker Memorial Day” at 10:00 AM, at Congressman Jason Smith’s Office across from Ozark Fitness.
We need your support and your presence for about one hour on (tomorrow) Wednesday.
We are rallying for worker safety. We have employees at the local VA Medical Center, that has suffered irreparable and irreversible health damage because of dangerous types of mold (Aspergillus and others) discovered in the workspace.
The root cause of the issue, is a improperly designed and installed HVAC System.
Although agency officials has finally admitted the HVAC is faulty, it was only after we uncovered documents in which they were playing hide and seek with.
The documents revealed, the lab supervisor, agency safety officers and maintenance supervisors were aware, there was a safety issue for about the past nine years.
In fact, we uncovered contradictory statements from at least three agency officials.
One of the agency safety officials stated there is “no mold” in the workspace, while the lab supervisor wrote on two separate occasions, Mold was present.
In fact there has been extensive cleaning around the edges of the issue, however, cleaning doesn’t remove the root cause.
The question is this, how many other times has deep dark secrets been hidden behind those closed doors.
As a result, one employee has lost about 13% lung capacity, and another has developed a bacterial lung infection while others continue to work in a war zone, fighting through sickness and illnesses to feed their families.
Are we waiting on someone to die, before we move the employees to safety.
Every single minute they remain in the unsafe workspace, is another minute their bodies are continue to fight in the War Zone.
These employees are in a war zone fighting against uncontrollable humid conditions and mold spores due to a faulty HVAC System.
The employees learned of the danger, by grabbing chunks of the black particles and sending them off for testing. This was done, because the agency refused to test between from 2013 through 2018.
We are needing you to stand with us, our special guest will be Senate Candidate Timothy Shepard, who is running for Roy Blunt’s open seat in 2022.
We need your to bring five people for tomorrow.
