As the Air Force remembers fallen Airmen for Memorial Day, the Air Transportation career field also reflects on losses in their own community. Airmen who are part of the Air Transportation career field are nicknamed “Port Dawgs.” Port Dawgs from across the Air Force host a memorial run and have a moment of silence for brothers and sisters who died during the year. Airmen from Pope Army Airfield carried MB1-Devices, a cargo tie-down tensioning device, with them for each of this year’s losses and ran strong.

Condolences to the families of the fallen Port Dawgs.
