Mississippi DMV Enforcement Notice

State records indicate that an outstanding traffic citation associated with your driving record has not been resolved within the required time. You are required to resolve this matter before March 15, 2026; otherwise, enforcement measures may apply beginning March 16, 2026. Under Mississippi Administrative Code §16C-16.003, failure to complete the required resolution within the prescribed period may result in administrative enforcement.

Possible enforcement measures include:

• Vehicle registration may be suspended

MCCOY SENTENCED TO 20 YEARS FOR TRAFFICKING METHAMPHETAMINE

On February 19, 2026, Adrian Rashad McCoy entered a plea of guilty to Trafficking of Methamphetamine. McCoy was indicted for the charge by a Pontotoc County Grand Jury. As a result, Judge Kelly Mims sentenced McCoy to 20 years to serve in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections. McCoy will not be eligible for parole or early release and will be required to serve all 20 years.

McCoy’s criminal activities were investigated by Kory Clowers and the Pontotoc County Sheriff’s Department as well as the North Mississippi Narcotics Unit. Assistant District Attorneys Megan French and Sidra Winter prosecuted the case on behalf of the State of Mississippi.

The Pontotoc County Sheriff’s Department is asking for your help. On the night of 10/24/25 or early morning hours of 10/25/25, multiple guns were stolen from unlocked vehicles throughout the county. If you have cameras we are requesting that you check and see if you have the suspect or suspect vehicle on video. Reports were taken in Sherman, Hwy 345, Jaggers Road and Furrs Road. The suspect may have also tried to steal from vehicles on other roads. If you have information or video that may be helpful, please call 662-419-8677. THANK YOU 🙏

The Pontotoc County Sheriff’s Department, Criminal Investigation Division (CID) announces the arrest of Jamie Reniery Sauceda Velasquez. Being charged with Felony Child Abuse involving a 7 year old female child. This incident took place in the Katelyn Path area of Pontotoc County. The perpetrator is a 24 year old illegal alien from Honduras.

The arrest was made Monday October 13th, 2025 at his residence without incident. The investigation was opened by Pontotoc County CID after the victim was carried to North Mississippi Medical Center - Pontotoc by her mother. The victim has bruising on her upper body from the incident.

A $50,000.00 bond has been set by Pontotoc County Justice Court Judge.

Immigration has been notified and, has a detainer placed on the perpetrator.

The case will be presented to a Pontotoc County Grand Jury.

The Criminal Investigation Division (CID) announced the arrest of Jarrion Jahmaal Dandridge on September 17th 2025. The perpetrator is a 26 year old male from Pontotoc County, MS. The perpetrator was arrested on felony Criminal charges of Aggravated Assault and Burglary-Home Invasion.
On September 14th, 2025 the perpetrator entered a residence in the Strawbridge Road area of Pontotoc County; kicked an inner door in and assaulted a 21 year old male; who at the time was asleep. The male that was assaulted was transported by ambulance to North Mississippi Medical Center, for his injuries.
The CID opened a Criminal Investigation on the perpetrator which resulted in his arrest.
A Pontotoc County Justice Court Judge set bond at $30,000.

The Criminal Investigation Division of the Pontotoc County Sheriff's Department (CID) announced the arrest of Manuel Alejandra Gaspar, an 18-year-old male from San Antonio, TX on felony Criminal charges of 3 counts of Aggravated Stalking and 1 count of Making of Terroristic Threats.
The CID sent felony warrants on the perpetrator to the San Antonio TX Police Department. The perpetrator was arrested and wavered extradition, to be transported to Pontotoc County. Two Criminal Investigators from the CID went to Texas and returned the perpetrator to Pontotoc County for incarceration in the Pontotoc County Sheriff's Department Adult Detention Center.
A Pontotoc County Justice Court Judge set the perpetrators Bond at $30,000.

The Criminal Investigation Division of the Pontotoc County Sheriff's Department announced the arrest of Billy Jack Walker, a 41 year old male from Byhalia, MS on Felony Fleeing on Friday night July 25, 2025.
A Patrol deputy of the Pontotoc County Sheriff's Department was conducting routine Patrol Operations on Cooper's Crossing Road in Pontotoc County. The perpetrator was observed stopped in the middle of the road with his lights off. As the Patrol Deputy pulled up to the vehicle the perpetrator jumped into the driver's side of another vehicle that had pulled up beside his vehicle. The Patrol Deputy initiated a stop, of the vehicle, which then fled at a high rate of speed.
The pursuit traveled through Pontotoc County into Lee County. The pursuit terminated in Tupelo when the perpetrator wrecked his vehicle by running off the road trying to pass another vehicle on the right shoulder of the road. It was later determined the perpetrstors vehicle which was left on Cooper's Crossing Road had been stolen from Olive Branch, MS.
The perpetrator was arrested and transported to the Pontotoc County Sheriff's Department, Adult Detention center.
At the conclusion of a Criminal Investigation by the CID the perpetrator was charged with Felony Fleeing, Possesion of a Controlled Substance-METHAMPHETAMINE, and Possession of Stolen Property.
In addition to the Felony charges, the perpetrator was charged with 16 misdemeanor charges.
This is still an ongoing Investigation by the CID due to the illegal Narcotics involved in this incident.
A Pontotoc County Justice Court Judge set the perpetrators Bond at $34,057.00. The perpetrator is still a prisoner at the Adult Detention Center, waiting to be picked up by the Mississippi Department of Corrections MDOC. The perpetrator is on Parole out of Marshall County, MS, for numerous Felony convictions.

The Criminal Investigation Division of the Pontotoc County Sheriff's Department announced the arrest, of Jodi Rachelle Arron, a 43 year old female from New Albany, MS, July 24th, 2025, for felony charges; 6 counts of Rendering Criminal Assistance-Hindering Prosecution.
This is another individual, involved in the Mary Garza, Child Molesting case. This perpetrator, due to her position, was providing information, to Mary Garza, that could have assisted her to avoid prosecution in the above mentioned case.
The perpetrator was carried in front of a Justice Court Judge to have Bond set. Bond was set at $75,000. This Investigation is still ongoing.
