RICHIE 💕
6 years old | Female | Sweet Girl Ready for Chapter Two
Meet Richie!
Richie was recently surrendered due to a change in the owners living situation.
It wasn't her fault — life just changed, and Richie lost her home. At 6 years old, she suddenly found herself in a noisy shelter, confused and wondering where her family went.

In her previous home, Richie lived with another cat and did well! She knows how to share space, share sunny spots, and co-exist peacefully. She could do well with another calm cat friend with a proper introduction.

Richie will need a home where she is given time to adjust. She just had her whole world turned upside down.

Like any new pet she might run and hide when she first meets you. She might tuck herself in the back of the kennel. She might peek at you from under a blanket. It's all new to her — the smells, the sounds, the faces. That's not who she really is, that's just her being scared and unsure.
But with the right amount of time, space and love she will blossom into the sweet and loving cat that she is, she just needs the right home.
But with the right amount of time, space and love she will blossom. That's who Richie really is — sweet and loving. The kind of cat who will eventually curl up next to you on the couch. Who will head-bump your hand for pets. Who will sleep at the foot of your bed and make your house feel like home again.
She just needs the right home. A patient home. A home that understands that good things take a little time.
At 6 years old, Richie is past the kitten crazies. She's in her lovely adult years — calm, affectionate, content to just be with you.
Will you give Richie the time she needs to blossom?

MAKO 🧡
9 years old | Female | Survivor | Gentle Soul
Mako has not had an easy life.
Mako was found in the mouth of a dog after being attacked, and then kicked by some area kids. We will never understand how someone could hurt such a gentle soul.
Luckily, a kind citizen chased off both the dog and the kids and got her to safety. Because of that one person, Mako is alive today.
Mako is on the mend and doing well — she's like that, a survivor. At 9 years old, she has seen the worst of the world, but it hasn't hardened her. She is still gentle, still soft, still purrs when you speak kindly to her. She survived, and she still chooses to trust.
What Mako needs now is a quiet and loving home where she will be given kindness, love and time to adjust and heal. Both her body and her heart are healing.
Mako just wants a quiet life — no drama, no loud noises. Just a sunny spot to nap, a warm lap to cozy up on, and gentle sounds to relax to.
She doesn't need much. Just peace. Just safety. Just someone who will say, "You are safe now, Mako."
At 9 years old, Mako is a senior lady who has earned a quiet, comfortable retirement. She knows what matters — a full belly, a warm bed, and a kind hand.
Can you be her safe place?
Ideal Home: QUIET home with kindness, love & time to heal — sunny spots & warm laps preferred.

Henny: Golden Heart, Silver Muzzle 🤍🐾
Meet Henny — 10 years old and still believing love is worth the wait.
Henny was abandoned by his owner in his senior years. After a lifetime of loyalty, he was left behind when he needed someone most. But Henny hasn’t given up hope.
Henny is a sweet fella who just wants to be loved and cared for in his senior years. He just wants a warm bed, a full belly, and someone to love and care for him. That’s it. No fancy asks. Just the basics every dog deserves.
In return, Henny will give you a lifetime of love. It might not be 10 more years, but every day he has left will be spent devoted to you.
He’s calm, gentle, and grateful. He won’t destroy your shoes or keep you up all night. He’ll nap by your feet, walk slow by your side, and look at you like you hung the moon — because to him, you did.
Senior dogs know. They know you saved them. They know time is precious. And they love deeper because of it.
Come meet Henny at Oakland County Animal Shelter. Don’t let him spend one more night wondering if love is still coming.
Henny’s Details:
Age: 10 years
Vibe: Sweet, calm, gentle, grateful soul
Loves: Warm beds, full bellies, soft pets, quiet companionship
Needs: A loving home for his senior years — no more abandonment
Notes: Abandoned senior. Low maintenance, high love
Promise: The purest love you’ll ever know, for as long as he has left.

Smidge: Not Even a Smidge of Bad in This Boy 💪🐾
Meet Smidge — 1 year old, 91 lbs, and there’s nothing “smidge” about his heart.
Smidge was found as a stray and never claimed by an owner. No one came looking. No history followed him in. He’s starting fresh, and he’s hoping you want to be page one.
Smidge is friendly, playful and strong (91 lbs). Don’t let the name fool you. This is a big, athletic, happy guy who thinks he’s a lap dog and we’re not about to tell him otherwise. He greets you like you’re his long-lost best friend. Tail wags. Full-body wiggles. The kind of joy you can feel from across the room.
Smidge loves walks, playtime and getting one on one time with people. Long walks? He’s in. Fetch in the yard? Even better. A quiet moment where you scratch his ears and tell him he’s a good boy? That’s his favorite. He’s social, affectionate, and thrives on human attention. He doesn’t want to be background noise — he wants to be your buddy.
He is full of energy and would benefit from learning a few basic commands. At 1 year and 91 lbs, “sit” and “leash manners” aren’t optional, they’re a game plan. He’s smart and eager to please. He just needs structure, consistency, and someone who thinks training is a bonding activity, not a chore. Treats help. A lot.
Because Smidge was a stray, it is not currently known how he would be with other pets or small kids. He’s friendly with people, but slow, proper intros are a must. He’s a big boy who plays hard, so a home that can match his strength and set boundaries will help him shine.
Smidge is hoping to find a loving home where he will get plenty of love, attention and yummy treats. He’s done the street thing. He’s done the kennel thing. He’s ready for the family thing. Daily walks. Playtime. A couch he’s allowed on. A person who looks at 91 lbs of happy and says “yep, that’s my dog.”
Come meet Smidge at Oakland County Animal Shelter. There’s nothing small about the love he’ll give you.
Smidge’s Details:
Age: 1 year old
Status: Stray, never claimed | Ready for adoption
Vibe: Friendly, playful, strong, energetic, people-focused
Loves: Walks, playtime, one-on-one attention, treats, being your shadow
Needs: Active home, basic training, leash work, structure, exercise
Notes: 91 lbs + strong. Unknown with other pets/kids. Meet required
Promise: A big, goofy, loyal guy with a whole lot of love to give — not just a smidg

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
🍬🐾 **Meet Sweets!** 🐾🍬
His name says it all-Sweets is a lovable boy with a big heart and an even bigger appetite! ❤️ This handsome pup is incredibly food-motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding. 🍖✨ If treats are involved, Sweets is ready to learn and eager to please!
Sweets (5-years-old) enjoys spending time with his people and does well with children, making him a wonderful family companion. 👧👦💕 Whether it's playtime, family activities, or simply hanging out together, he loves being part of the action.
Sweets is looking for a home where he can be the **one and only pet**. 🏡🐕 He prefers having all the love, attention, and treats to himself, and he will thrive in a home where he doesn't have to share his space with other animals.
With his sweet personality, love for people, and enthusiasm for snacks, Sweets is sure to bring plenty of joy and laughter to his forever family. 🥰🐾
If you're looking for a loyal companion who loves kids, enjoys learning, and will happily accept treats as payment for a job well done, Sweets may be the perfect match for you! 🍬❤️

TIGGER! 🐯🧡
6 years old | Male | The Wonderful Thing About Tiggers...
You know the song? Let's sing it together!
The wonderful thing about Tiggers... is Tiggers are wonderful things!
Their tops are made out of rubber, their bottoms are made out of springs!
They're bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy — fun, fun, fun, fun, FUN!
But the most wonderful thing about Tiggers is... I'm the only one!
That's me! I'm Tigger!

Tigger who was recently surrendered due to no fault of his own.
It's true — I recently lost my home, but it wasn't my fault at all. I did everything right. I was a good boy. Sometimes life just... changes.

Tigger is sweet, friendly and social and would love to find a loving home where he will be loved and cared for.
Sweet? Like honey! Winnie would love me! I am sweet as honey, sweet as a pot of hunny left in the sun!
Friendly? I'm friendly to EVERYONE! I never met a stranger, only friends I haven't head-bumped yet!
Social? Ohhhh buddy. I am SOCIAL. I'm not the cat who hides under the bed. I'm the cat who meets you at the door. The cat who supervises your work. The cat who wants to be where the people are!
I may not actually bounce on my tail like that other Tigger, but I do have a little bounce in my step. And I definitely have the purr. A big, rumbly, wonderful Tigger purr.
At 6 years old, I'm in my prime. I'm past the kitten crazies (mostly), I know how to be a perfect gentleman in a house, I know that laps are for sitting in, and I know that every day is a great day for a little adventure — even if that adventure is just from the couch to the sunny window.
I would love to find a loving home where I will be loved and cared for.
Not just fed and housed. LOVED. Cared for. Cherished. A home where someone says "That's my Tigger" and means it. A home where I get to stay forever and ever. Where I can be your one and only wonderful Tigger.
Because like the song says — the most wonderful thing about Tiggers is... I'm the only one. And I'm waiting just for you.

Come meet me today? Bring a song, I'll bring the purrs.
Bouncy, trouncy purrs,
Tigger 🐯

BART! 💛🐾
10 weeks old | Male | Happy-Go-Lucky Adventure Kitten
Meet Bart!
Bart is a happy-go-lucky fella who loves adventures.
That's me! I'm Bart! I'm 10 weeks old and I am 100% happy, 100% lucky, and 100% ready for adventure! Are you going somewhere? I'm coming too! Are you staying here? That's an adventure too! Every box is a cave! Every hallway is a jungle! Every sock is a treasure!

I'm just a happy-go-lucky fella and I LOVE adventures. Big adventures, tiny adventures, all the adventures in between!
Bart loves to climb, cuddle and create joy wherever he goes.
CLIMB — I climb! I climb cat trees! I climb your leg a little bit (sorry not sorry)! I climb to the top and go "I'M KING OF THE WORLD!" I'm basically a tiny mountain climber. Everest? Conquered it. Couch? Also conquered it.
CUDDLE — After I climb, I cuddle! I am a world-class cuddler! I will curl up in your lap, on your chest, in the crook of your arm, on your keyboard when you're trying to work. I purr like a little motorboat. Cuddle level: Expert.
CREATE JOY — This is my real job! I create joy wherever I go! I walk into a room and people go "AWWWW!" I pounce and people laugh! I fall asleep with my face in my food bowl and people take 100 pictures! Joy! Joy! Joy! I'm like a little joy factory!

That's my dream! A warm and loving family! A warm house — because I'm tiny and warm is nice! A loving family who will give me:
Plenty of cuddles (I require many, daily)
Plenty of treats (I am growing, you know!)
Plenty of catnip! (I've never had it before but the big cats say it's THE BEST and I want to try it!)
I'm 10 weeks old, so I'm ready to be your tiny shadow, your little adventure buddy, your joy-creator for the next 15+ years!

Come meet me today and let's start our adventure!
Purrs and head-bumps,
Bart 😸✨

Hi... it's me. Zetta. 💛..peeks out from the corner of my kennel with soft eyes...
That's me. I'm Zetta. I'm 3 years old, I'm 60 lbs, and I'm a sweet, but shy girl.
I was found as a stray and never claimed.
I didn't have a collar. No one came for me. I waited. No one came. So now I'm here.
The shelter is... really loud. And new. The dogs barking, the doors clanking, people walking by... it's all new to me and I'm scared and unsure of things. So if you see me curled up in the back of my kennel, I'm not being rude. I'm just... trying to be brave.
I might take a minute or two to come out of my shell. Okay, maybe a few minutes. Can you wait for me? Please wait for me?
Once she knows she can trust you her personality comes out and her face lights up.
If you sit down sideways, talk soft, let ME come to you... I'll come. Slowly. Sniff sniff. And then my face lights up. My ears go soft. My tail starts — thump thump thump. And then I remember how to be me. The real me. Not the scared shelter me.

The real me is sweet. And playful — I love to play! Gentle play, silly play, I do little bouncy play-bows when I feel safe! And loving. I am so, so loving. At 60 lbs, I'm a big girl with a big heart. I want to lean into you. I want to rest my head on your lap and sigh. I just need you to go slow so I can get there.

Because I was a stray, they don't know how I would be with other pets or small kids. I never had a family to tell them. If you have other dogs or little ones, we can do a meet-and-greet here, nice and slow, just how I like it.

My biggest wish? A loving home where I am given time, love and kindness while I adjust to new surroundings.
Time. That's all I need. Time to learn that your house is safe. Time to learn where my bed is. Time to learn that you will come back when you leave. Time to trust.
Give me love. Give me kindness. Give me a little patience while I figure out this whole "home" thing.
And I will give you my whole heart. My goofy, playful, loving, lit-up face. Every single day.

Will you sit with me today? I might take a minute or two... but I promise I'm worth waiting for.
Soft wags and hopeful eyes,
Zetta 🐾
