Oakland County Emergency Management & Homeland Security is dedicated to supporting our Cities, Villages, and Townships through a coordination of effort of logistical support during emergency operations by enhancing our all hazard preparedness posture with comprehensive homeland security initiatives and first responder training. This page will generally be used for communication, outreach,

and public dialogue to make information and services widely available to the general public, especially among the people it serves. Information, such as meetings, trainings, exercises, and helpful preparedness hints will be part of the page daily routine activities. In the event of a disaster, a unified informational message will be pushed to local communities. When using the grill this holiday weekend, remember these safety tips:
1. Keep the grill away from the house and garage.
2. Never grill in an enclosed area.
3. Make sure everyone, including pets, stays away from the grill.
4. Don't leave the grill unattended when in use.
