I was honored to attend the Woodford County Farm Bureau legislative roundtable breakfast this morning in Eureka! A number of agriculture-related topics were discussed. Thank you to everyone who attended, and thanks to all who organized this informative and important event.

Governor Pritzker signed the FY 2027 state budget into law earlier today. The budget includes more irresponsible spending, more tax and fee hikes, and does nothing to address public safety issues in Illinois. Please read my statement at my website.

Thank you to the hunters who donated deer to the Hunters Feeding Illinois program this year, as well as the meat processors and food pantries who made this source of lean protein available to families in need across Illinois.

The program provided an estimated 138,900 meals in 48 counties last season.
