HAZMAT (Swipe -> For Hype) - R263, E63, Q11, R63, E24, BC52, BC24, S53, R52, HM17, HM53, BC24, E103, E52, R61

Hazmat teams in Broward County are specially trained and equipped to identify, contain, and mitigate chemical spills, gas leaks, and other dangerous substances. Their work protects not only the public and our first responders, but also our environment, waterways, and infrastructure. It takes advanced training, specialized monitoring equipment, and seamless teamwork to handle these complex incidents safely.

A huge thank you to Broward Sheriff’s Office Fire Rescue Hazmat 17 and Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue Hazmat 53 and Squad 53 for their assistance. Mutual aid partnerships like these are what make Broward County’s emergency response system so strong. 🤝

Big Shout Out to all the CERT Teams who respond to these extended calls for Support & REHAB.

This Mother’s Day, we honor the incredible strength, courage, and love of firefighter moms—women who balance the heat of the firehouse with the warmth of home. With only about 4% of U.S. firefighters being women and many of them proudly serving as mothers, these heroes prove every day that bravery knows no gender and that love doesn’t clock out. To all the moms in turnout gear—thank you for your unwavering dedication on and off duty. Happy Mother’s Day to the fiercest multitaskers we know! 💐
