In just six months with HAPB, Delvis has made an incredible impression through her positive attitude, fresh ideas and commitment to helping others.

As our Accounts Receivable Specialist, Delvis says she is passionate about using her experience to help advance HAPB’s vision and make a difference in the community.

Outside of work, she enjoys family, traveling and community service. The words she lives by say a lot about who she is: “Walk by faith and treat others the way I want to be treated.”

FROM HOUSING TO HIGHER ED: HAPB AND FAMU ANNOUNCE HISTORIC PARTNERSHIP 🎓✨

What a day for Pompano Beach! 🧡💚

The room was filled with excitement, hope, love and possibility as HAPB, Housing360 and Florida A&M University (FAMU) came together to celebrate a historic partnership focused on the future of our children.

And what better place to celebrate than the NEW Provident Place, HAPB’s newly developed affordable housing community created for seniors ages 62+.

This partnership creates a pathway designed to help eligible HAPB students move from stable housing to higher education, opportunity and economic mobility.

We were proud to welcome FAMU President Marva B. Johnson, J.D., HAPB Executive Director Lennard Robinson, HAPB Board Chairman the Honorable Whitney Rawls, along with elected officials, Commissioners, Board members, students, families and community partners who came together to celebrate this important moment.

Thank you to FAMU, Housing360 and everyone who helped bring this vision to life.

From creating quality affordable housing for our seniors to opening doors to higher education for our youth, HAPB is helping create opportunity at every stage of life.

Here’s to big dreams, brighter futures and generations of success! 🎓✨

Community is at the heart of everything we do. 💙

The Housing Authority of Pompano Beach was proud to host a Back-to-School Grocery & Shoe Giveaway, bringing families together for a day of support, connection and community. From free groceries to new shoes for students, we were grateful to see such a great turnout and to help families prepare for the school year ahead.

Our impact extends beyond housing. We are committed to strengthening Pompano Beach by supporting the people who call it home, creating meaningful partnerships and showing up where our community needs us most.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day such a success. Together, we’re building a stronger Pompano Beach. 💙

Last week, HAPB was proud to be present at the 2026 REPAIR Conference, presented by the Florida Housing Coalition, in Orlando!

The experience was a powerful reminder that meaningful impact happens when we come together. Through conversations with housing leaders, community partners and teams from across Florida, we had the opportunity to learn from one another, exchange ideas and explore new ways to better serve our communities.

We left inspired by the collective commitment to creating stronger communities and reminded that none of this work happens alone. Every connection, shared experience and new perspective helps us strengthen the work we do right here in Pompano Beach.

A heartfelt thank you to for an incredible conference and for creating the space for learning, connection, inspiration and camaraderie. We’re grateful for the experience and excited to bring what we learned back home as we continue working together to make an impact. 💙🏡

From a little friendly competition at Bingo to plenty of laughter along the way, our activities calendar is about so much more than having fun. It’s about bringing residents together, building connections and creating the kind of camaraderie that makes Provident Place feel like home.

Because a great place to live isn’t just about where you live. It’s about the people, the moments and the memories you make together.
