Do you love the outdoors? Do you love helping people? Consider a new career in the Aquatics industry as a Lifeguard! The City of Pompano Beach will be hosting Lifeguard Certification course the weekend of October 2 & 3 for those interested in entering this exciting and rewarding industry. Registration is just $38 (Normally over $200).

Swim Test on first day of course. All Skill evaluations require passing score.

Did you know there is a national shortage for pool and beach lifeguards? Employers are actively recruiting new hires for their open lifeguard positions. Not certified? Red Cross has multiple upcoming lifeguard certification courses in Broward County. (Click the link below for more information.) Once certified you will be able to apply to multiple job openings across the county including Pompano Beach!

Stay safe around water. With lifeguarding and water safety programs from the Red Cross, you can learn basic skills and train to be a lifeguard.
