Workshop Friday. “WireGuard VPN installation walk-through” ft. Louie Hernandez.

We will be setting up a WireGuard VPN server inside the cloud. Learn how to protect yourself on public Wi-Fi access points, evade network restrictions, and access your home or cloud network securely while on-the-go! Hope all is well🍀We are launching our very first virtual workshop Tomorrow March 20th. 6PM - 8PM‼️

Make sure to download WireShark before the workshop‼️

We will learn how to use Wireshark, the world’s foremost network protocol analyzer! You’ll learn how to:
-Capture network traffic on both wireless and wired networks
-Reconstruct packets to recover their contents
-Quickly filter and analyze large packet captures
-Integrate lua plugins for extra functionality
- Use wireshark to troubleshoot networking issues

Next, here’s how the elections will work. The elections will be semi-open, so the majority of the positions will be decided by you, the general members! As we are not holding physical meetings, the ballots will be distributed electronically after all applications have been submitted. You will be able to see the applicants, as well as the material they submitted during the application. All current board members will need to run for election again if they would like to return.

There are a few positions, that due to the requirements, that will be selected through interviews, as well as deliberation and anonymous ballot by the current board members. Those positions are President, Vice President, Scheduler, and Treasurer.

Due to classes being moved online, we will not be having in person general meetings or workshops. We will however host workshops online and distribute all the necessary materials, such as virtual machines, prior to the time of the workshop.
