San Gabriel/Pomona Regional Center works in partnership with individuals with developmental disabilities, their families and the community, to promote choice, empowerment, independence, and full integration into community life. The Regional Center represents the community in supporting and advancing the intent and entitlement of the Lanterman Developmental Disabilities Services Act through services such as assessment, advocacy, service coordination, education, training, communication, resource development and prevention services.

Our Associate Director of Adult & Residential Services, Zorahida Escarcega, and Director of Client Services, G. Daniela Santana, participated in the 36th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Walk and Roll Event.

The event provided an opportunity to recognize the significance of the ADA, celebrate the progress made toward advancing accessibility and inclusion, and reaffirm our collective commitment to supporting the rights and independence of individuals with disabilities.

Have you heard of SG/PRCโ€™s The Advocacy Connection? These are meetings designed for adult individuals served by the San Gabriel/Pomona Regional Center (SG/PRC) to learn about self-advocacy, important resources, and current topics that support you to develop, grow and thrive! Held on zoom every other month on the 4th Thursday of the month. The next session will be held on Thursday, July 23rd from 5pm to 6pm. The topic will be "Let's Talk Dental Health" and the presenter will be Cristina Macasaet, SG/PRCโ€™s Dental Coordinator.
