Elevated fire danger expected today and Tuesday as gusty southerly winds up to 30 to 40 mph at times combine with a dry air mass. Elevated Fire Danger means that weather and land conditions are favorable for erratic fire spread, if a fire does start.

On Tuesday, Jan. 20, the Ozark County Commissioners issued a burn ban for all of Ozark County, effective immediately and until further notice. Residents should not conduct any burning including that of trash or fields, until the ban has been lifted. See futher updates on the Ozark County Times page.

The Fire Engine Rally Returns to Willow Springs!

Join us for a day of fun and community spirit at Booster Field on Saturday, October 11th.

Schedule of Events:

• 7:30 AM – 8:30 AM: Start your day with breakfast at the American Legion. ($9 for adults, $5 for veterans, and kids 12 and under est free.)
Come and support The American Legion in willow springs abd check out all the fire trucks at same time.

• 9:00 AM: Fire truck parade down Main Street.

• 10:00 AM (approx.): Events begin at Booster Field.

• 12:00 PM: Fire vs. Police Tug-of-War!

This event is open to the public and will feature games and activities for kids.
