I want to Thank DD214 ARI for the Retirement gift. I especially want to Thank the Board Chairman Kurt Jaeger for his thoughtfulness in picking it out for me ( I really like it) andit will get used for sure. It was an Honor being the CEO of this Veterans Organization.

DAY 6. THE SALT FLATS.
Started day 6 helping at the front gate.
This young Lady from the Isle of Man is the daughter of the ferry operator at the Isle of Man and invited me over to watch the races. Absolutely charming and a very delightful young woman.
The Royal Infield is a 2 Record setting Production Sidecar PG ans PF owned by ANGUS from Scotland who now lives in Texas. A great guy and perfect gentleman to talk to. The Norton Manx is a 4th place finisher at the Isle of Man and is owned by an Englishman named Dan. He had raced against Dave Roper 30 yrs ago.
The old Flathead Deluxe is owned and riden by the owner of the local bike museum, but I didn't catch his name.
Lastly I has a good talk with Mike and Chance from Barnett clutches and Cables. The Only Place to buy quality parts for your machine. My work station at the Flats
Racing was a little sperratic today due to wind conditions, but all in all it was a great day on the Salt.
