We are so incredibly proud of all of our Lake Monsters Swim Team. What a way to finish the short course season!
A huge thank you to Coach Pat, Coach Jessie and Coach Megan for developing such great athletes and good humans around the pool
Wrapping up day 4 at state:
Sunday was a special day for the Lake Monsters on the final day of the season.
To start off-congrats to STATE CHAMPS Zayda Dumouchel and Thomas Kinnick. Zayda dominated this meet from start to finish-she won 5 individual gold medals out of her 5 individual events. Thomas Kinnick took 1st place in the 50
Fly.
Congratulations to everyone who competed this weekend including both of our state CHAMPS!
Lake Monsters also had many other medals won Sunday. Robert Szmergalski took home his second medal in the boys 8 and under 25 fly, he took 8th.
Annie Kleinmeyer won 3rd place in the 100 IM and 4th in the 50 fly.
Isaac Kinnick won 5th place in the 50 fly and 8th in the 100 free.
Cora Dumouchel won 2nd place in the 100 back, 4th in the 50 fly and 3rd in the 100 yard free.
In addition to some regional cuts from our 12 and under swimmers this season, Cora Dumouchel and Annie Kleinmeyer, we have some senior zones cuts to announce.
Amelia Stene in the 50 free and 50 fly qualified -she is also heading to senior sectionals in Boise.
Hannah Harriman has qualified in the 500 free and 1000 free.
Thomas Kinnick qualified in the 50 fly.
Way to go, Lake Monsters!
