A National Historical Landmark erected in 1869..... and still true to it's original construction.Built as a Presbyterian Church in Nov. 1869 on land donated by Henry Shults.

10th Annual Poland Historic Chapel Speaker Series

Featuring Danny Russell as 'James Whitcomb Riley'

Sunday Sept. 8th at 3:00 pm $10, at the door

Meet James Whitcomb Riley as he shares funny boyhood shenanigans, dances on the medicine show, makes a splash in newspapers and on the lecture circuit, tours with Mark Twain (who called our Hoosier Poet "the best storyteller in America!"), and performs classic verses (The Raggedy Man, When the Frost is on the Punkin, Little Orphan Annie). We also learn about his connection to Raggedy Ann and the founding of Riley Hospital.

It's that time of year....again!

The Community Theater Choir, under the direction of Shaun Short, will present their 2023 Christmas Program on Monday, Dec. 11 at 7 pm at the Poland Chapel.

Following the program, the Poland Lions Club will be providing refreshments at the Lions 'Den'....the former First Financial Bank building (on the corner or St. Rd 42 & Poland-Bowling Green Rd.)....and the Elf Shop will be open too!

Come spend an evening enjoying the sights and sounds of Christmas at our little white Chapel.... and some great fellowship afterwards!
