The Mason County Library aims to provide a variety of reading, listening, and viewing materials and to foster our children’s appreciation for reading and learning in our community. We believe the right to read is a key freedom, which is basic to democracy. To borrow, we have a variety of books and audio books in fiction and nonfiction, for all ages. Other books available from our library include e
lectronic books, audios, and e-magazines through the WV Reads consortium. In house, we have diverse DVD movies, cartoons, and documentaries. Also, established and active library members may borrow one of our Wi-Fi hotspots. The following library resources are available to our community for no cost:

- Educational and entertaining activities, both guided and self-paced, including monthly S.T.E.A.M. events and our annual summer programming
