9/11 - Today we remember and honor those who lost their lives 20 years ago on September 11th. Thank you to the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary for organizing a beautiful ceremony to help us “Never Forget” and to recognize the service personnel who responded at the risk of their own lives, not only on 9/11 but every day they serve and protect. Life is too short to have hate in our hearts. Let us remember the unity our country showed in the following days and carry that same unity moving forward for our brothers and sisters and our country. 🇺🇸 God Bless the USA 🇺🇸

With all of the negative things in our world right now it sure feels good to get an email like this one. When these men and woman that work as police officers, EMS, firefighters meet with most citizens it’s usually under less than desirable circumstances. It is evident that this young man made this family feel some comfort in a time of need. Even the smallest gestures of kindness can mean the most in difficult times. From myself and the Mason County Sheriffs Department I want to thank Cpl. Jon Peterson for showing kindness and compassion to a grieving family in a time of need. We are proud of you!

Mathew 5:9
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. ... Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.

It has been a very busy first week. Please be patient if you submitted a CCW permit application before the new year or are waiting on a renewal. We are waiting on Charleston to switch the CCW computer system into my name. Once the computer system is changed the process will be back to normal speed. I will do anything I can to expedite the process to assure Mason county citizens get their permits back in a timely manner.
Thanks, God bless!

I thank God and my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for this evening and want to say thanks to everyone who supported me along the way. I can’t even put into words how humbled I am at the results of tonight’s election results. Thanks to my wife, my kids, and my friends who supported me the whole time. I want to dedicate this to my late father Ralph O Miller Jr. He would’ve been so proud. I have so many folks to thank personally, it will take several days to finish that lol. I tried to keep up with all the calls and texts over the course of the evening but if I missed anyone, I apologize. It was overwhelming at times! It was very difficult to campaign and run a race against a man I respect. Ronnie has a wonderful wife and family. I don’t know Mr. Fruth personally, but I respect the hard work everyone put in and personally know how tiring and stressful it is to run a campaign. I will work very hard to earn the respect and trust of our whole county and can’t wait to start working with the fine men and women of Mason County. Together we will lead this county into the future. Thank you Mason County! God bless!

To say that these last 11 months have been a life changing experience would be an understatement. All the time and work comes down to tomorrow November 3rd 2020. First and foremost I want to thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Only By Gods grace I am able to take part in this election process. Secondly to my family, I couldn’t have made it his far without you guys. Thanks to all the folks that have helped me along the way, the list is very long! I’m truly blessed beyond measure with the amount of support I have received. With the new friends I’ve made and this journey in a whole I’m already a winner no matter how the polls end up tomorrow. We have a tremendous community here in Mason county. I pray for a bright future for our kids and young adults. I hope they can settle here and thrive long into the future! Thanks everyone and God bless!
