Portneuf Air Rescue will be hosting the National EMS Memorial Moving Honors Ceremony this week on June 3rd and welcomes our community to join them.

This annual tribute pays respect to our EMC heroes across the nation who were tragically killed in the line of duty, giving their lives while helping others.

A new chapter is taking root in Pocatello!

We are excited to help celebrate Portneuf Valley Partners Community Garden with a ground breaking ceremony, a city-wide effort made possible through the dedication and collaboration of many local partners, including Neighbor Works, the City of Pocatello, the Garden Committee, the Litter Bugs, and numerous volunteers and contributors who gave their time, services, and materials to bring this vision forward.

This thoughtfully planned project will be developed in two phases. Each phase will include 34 planter plots available to community members for a low seasonal fee, creating affordable access to gardening opportunities right here in town. The full garden will be established within a 1-acre site and will include a deer fence to help protect and preserve the growing spaces.

Phase 1 is expected to be completed in time for the 2027 growing season, marking a meaningful step toward a shared community resource focused on connection, sustainability, and local pride.

It was great to see so many groups and community members involved with this project! We look forward to watching this community garden grow and take shape in the seasons ahead.
