We are all making good progress on this as a community! You have all helped inventory a lot more in the past two weeks- thank you! There are still some areas to go - if anyone needs volunteer hours or a purpose to get outside, please contact us and we're happy to point folks in the right direction for helping with the inventory (and we're happy to sign off on volunteer hours when you spend time finding them - Looking at you, last minute NHS students...)

We're updating the 2012 Bike Rack Inventory in the Pocatello-Chubbuck area and we need your help to find them all. Use the mapping application on the engagement website to tag where racks are, and to let us know what type of rack they are (there's even an instructional video on the linked webpage to help understand how to do it. Help us plan for the future by understanding what infrastructure is on the ground today - Thanks!

Bannock Transportation Planning Organization, BTPO, is the regional transportation planning organization working in the Pocatello-Chubbuck area to plan for future transportation conditions. We're currently starting our long-range planning efforts to understand how transportation needs might change through 2055 and beyond but first we need to understand current conditions. This bike and pedestrian current use survey seeks to understand how frequently community members walk and bike, obstacles to doing so in the area, and to understand how community members are using electric bicycles.

We need your help to refresh the 2012 Bike Rack Inventory Database with locations and types of bike racks that are on the ground today throughout the Pocatello-Chubbuck area. Click the link below to learn more about the project, find a short tutorial on how to use the map with your mobile device, and discover an interactive map whereupon you can tag locations of bike racks, mark what kind they are, and upload a photo of the bike rack.

Have you found a spot on the map that says it had a rack in 2012 but it doesn't today? We want to know that also!
