Ashley Boles recently attended the annual Lifesavers Conference on Roadway Safety in Baltimore, Maryland, where he received the NHTSA Law Enforcement Award for his work as Breath Alcohol Testing Mobile Program Coordinator. He was nominated by Bridget White of the ASP Highway Safety Office in Little Rock for his leadership and the role he plays in removing impaired drivers from Arkansas’s highways. This was the first year NHTSA presented the award to law enforcement, and Ashley was one of five officers nationwide selected to receive it.
In addition to being recognized, Ashley was also a presenter at the conference. He spoke during the Innovative Programs in Law Enforcement session and presented “High Visibility Impaired Driving Prevention Practices.”
