Thanks to all of the organizers and volunteers who helped put together the 2022 DFL SD 42 Convention last Saturday! It was great and in addition to endorsing our amazing candidates for office, we elected a new slate of executive officers, Directors, Precinct Chairs, and delegates to the DFL State Central Committee! Thank you all in advance for your undertaking in working to elect and re-elect our candidates! Your energy and commitment is exactly what it will take!

Now the hard work begins…Calls, door knocking, mailers, fundraising, etc., for our newly endorsed candidates: Bonnie Westlin for Senate, Ned Carroll for HD 42A and Ginny Klevorn for HD 42B. Plymouth’s school districts in Wayzata, Robbinsdale, and Osseo are facing a combined projected budget shortfall of $26,323,070.

We can’t tout a state budget surplus of nearly $9.3 billion when our schools and students are facing devastating cuts. Now more than ever, our kids and families are counting on us to deliver the investment they need and deserve to thrive.
