Dear Plymouth South Middle School Teachers and Students,
Thank you so much for visiting the Salvation Army Plymouth Corps. It meant the world to us to share a little bit about what volunteering looks like here, and to see so many young people eager to learn about giving back.
Your generosity blew us away. The donations you brought will go directly to help families in our community, and that kind of impact starts with kids your age learning the value of kindness and service early. Watching children learn how to give, not just receive, is one of the most hopeful things we get to witness. Thank you for planting that seed.
A special thank you to Sandra Locke for teaching the students about science and technology, the same kind of learning we get to offer through our afterschool programs. It was wonderful to connect those dots for the kids and show them how learning and service can go hand in hand.
To Julie, thank you for the card and for taking the time to teach the students about what it means to give. Little moments like that leave a big impression.
To Major Deb, thank you for your many years of faithful service to The Salvation Army. Your heart for this ministry, and your example of why we do what we do, is felt by everyone around you.
And to Linda and Laurie, our food pantry wouldn’t be what it is without you. Every single day, you change lives just by showing up with love. Thank you for all that you give.
We are so grateful for this visit and for the chance to inspire the next generation of givers.
With gratitude,
The Salvation Army Plymouth Corps & Community Center
