One call to The Salvation Army changed everything. When Barbara couldn’t keep up with her $1,000 electric bill, help came through the Energy Fund. With $400 in support, she avoided a shutoff and found stability. If you're facing hardship, don’t wait—see if you qualify. magoodneighbor.org

Dear Plymouth South Middle School Teachers and Students,

Thank you so much for visiting the Salvation Army Plymouth Corps. It meant the world to us to share a little bit about what volunteering looks like here, and to see so many young people eager to learn about giving back.

Your generosity blew us away. The donations you brought will go directly to help families in our community, and that kind of impact starts with kids your age learning the value of kindness and service early. Watching children learn how to give, not just receive, is one of the most hopeful things we get to witness. Thank you for planting that seed.

A special thank you to Sandra Locke for teaching the students about science and technology, the same kind of learning we get to offer through our afterschool programs. It was wonderful to connect those dots for the kids and show them how learning and service can go hand in hand.

To Julie, thank you for the card and for taking the time to teach the students about what it means to give. Little moments like that leave a big impression.

To Major Deb, thank you for your many years of faithful service to The Salvation Army. Your heart for this ministry, and your example of why we do what we do, is felt by everyone around you.

And to Linda and Laurie, our food pantry wouldn’t be what it is without you. Every single day, you change lives just by showing up with love. Thank you for all that you give.

We are so grateful for this visit and for the chance to inspire the next generation of givers.

With gratitude,
The Salvation Army Plymouth Corps & Community Center

To the Plymouth Sunrise Rotary and our amazing community partners,

Thank you doesn’t feel like enough. This partnership has never been just about sharing a building, it’s about showing up for each other and for this community, again and again.

We’re so grateful for the work happening on our Long Pond Rd property, and a huge thank you to P.A. Lander’s for donating the mulch to get this first stage going. To Rob and Tiffony, thank you for leading the charge and putting in the sweat to make it happen. Service Above Self isn’t just your motto, it’s something you live out, and we see it.

We are stronger together. 🩷

Look who I ran into here at Hershey for General’s Congress Officers’ Councils… what a joy to reconnect during this time of Holy Covenant renewal! There’s something so powerful about gathering with fellow officers from across the territory, refreshed and recommitted to the call God has placed on our lives. Grateful for these moments and these people. Onward! 🙏

A heartfelt thank you to the incomparable Loretta LaRoche for joining us at our Breakfast Bunch senior breakfast! ☕💛

What a gift it was to have you spend the morning with us. From the moment you walked in, the room lit up your humor, your warmth, and your wisdom about finding joy even in life’s messiest moments touched every single person at those tables. Our seniors laughed until they cried, nodded along like old friends, and walked away reminded that it’s never too late to lighten up and embrace the absurdity of life.

You didn’t just give a talk you gave our community a morning of genuine connection, belly laughs, and a renewed perspective. So many folks came up to me afterward saying how much they needed that laughter and how seen they felt by your stories.

Thank you for generously sharing your time, your gifts, and your incredible spirit with The Salvation Army Plymouth Corps family. You are a true treasure to this community, and we are so grateful to call you a friend.

With so much gratitude and love, Envoy Anne Rich & The Plymouth Corps Breakfast Bunch family 💛

PS
Keep an eye out for November….. Loretta is doing something amazing again for the Women’s Auxillary !!
