Highway Department update concerning potholes in roadways.
Our department is working throughout the winter/spring season to repair the potholes. With the wet weather and nighttime cold temperatures, the water freezes in the potholes, and we are unable to fill them with cold patch. We are patching the potholes as soon as possible. When driving, please be aware of the potholes, as this is the time of year when they inflict havoc on our roadways.

Road Load Limit Postings

The Plymouth Select Board has authorized the posting of the following list of roads for a 10-ton load limit during the period of March 7th through May 1st, 2026. The purpose of this posting is to prevent unreasonable damage to the roadways, which may result in hazards to public safety and or possible extraordinary maintenance expenses to the community.

Bartlett Road, Cummings Hill Road, New Hebron Road,
Sanborn Road, Old Hebron Road, Chaisson Road
Reservoir Road, Bell Road, Texas Hill Road, Thurlow Street
Morse Road, Loon Lake Road, Parker Street

Road Closure / Detour Information

Location: Main St. @ Highland St.
Date: 04/24/2023
Time: 6:30 PM to 6:00 AM
Reason: Water and Sewer Construction

Detour information;

If you are traveling south on Main St., you will be directed up Highland St. in front of the Post Office. You will not be able to continue south on Main St. You can turn onto Russell St. to continue south or go up Highland St.

If you are coming down Highland St., at the intersection of Highland St. and Langdon St.,
you will be directed to either go north or south on Langdon St.

If you are traveling north on Main St., you will be directed down to Green St. to Bridge St.
