Just a reminder that we are CLOSED today, Monday, September 7th, in observance of Labor Day.

Our team—and our feline supervisors—are taking the day to relax, recharge, and hopefully enjoy a few extra cat naps. 😸💤

🐾 September is Animal Pain Awareness Month.

Cats are experts at hiding pain, which means the signs can be easy to miss. Changes in appetite, decreased mobility, difficulty jumping or standing, excessive grooming, hiding, or even subtle changes in behavior can all be clues that something isn’t quite right.

You know your cat best. If you notice a change—even a small one—don’t assume it’s simply part of getting older. Early recognition and treatment can make a big difference in your cat’s comfort and quality of life. 💙

Regular wellness exams also help us catch subtle signs of pain that may not be obvious at home.

TLC Cat Clinic will be CLOSED Monday, September 7th for Labor Day.

Please check your kitty’s medications, prescription food, and supplies ahead of time so no one is left staring dramatically at an empty bowl. 👀🐱

🖤 Meet Millie! 🖤

This beautiful one-year-old girl has an incredible story to tell.

Not long ago, Millie was diagnosed with Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP)—a disease that, until recently, was considered almost always fatal. Thanks to her dedicated family, advances in treatment, and a whole lot of determination, Millie has officially beaten FIP! 🎉

Today, she's happy, healthy, and full of love. Just look at that sweet face! 🥹

Stories like Millie's remind us how far feline medicine has come and how important it is to never lose hope. If your cat has been diagnosed with FIP, know that treatment options now exist, and many cats are able to go on to live happy, normal lives.

Congratulations, Millie! We couldn't be happier for you and your family. ❤️
