Hill Creek Volunteer Fire Department We are a volunteer fire department serving the Hill Creek and surrounding area. We respond to all fire and first responder calls in our area.

Well today marks the end of my public service career. Effective June 1,2021 I will be officially retired from the Hill Creek Fire Department. I have served as your Fire Chief for 41 years. In 1980 when we organized this department I was elected Fire Chief and have tried my best to serve my community. I never expected to be Chief for all these years but that’s the way the men and women wanted it. My goal was to make the Hill Creek Fire Department the best that it can be. Not to out do or be better than anyone else but to be the best that we could be. With the help of a lot of great men and women throughout the years I’m leaving knowing that we have achieved that goal. I can assure you that I am leaving you in good hands as the new leadership assumes command on June 1st.

The Department and Community are giving me a retirement party June 5th from 12 until 3 at the Mt Pleasant Baptist church at 899 Highway 92 which is 4 miles north of Plumerville. They are serving BBQ lunch. I would love to see any past members and those who have helped make the Hill Creek Fire Department what it is today.

Once again it has been a honor and privilege to serve the Hill Creek and surrounding communities for the last 41 years

Hill Creek FD participated in the Toy Run in Morrilton today. Our members collected 56 new toys for Foster Kids in Conway County. Thanks to Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Sunday Night Church group who also donated new toys.
