OFFICIAL STATEMENT REGARDING ONGOING SITUATION IN CAMDEN

🤝 The PFANJ is fully aware of the ongoing situation currently unfolding in Camden. We are working with Camden Fire Officers Local #2578, CFD Local 788, and International Association of Fire Fighters and monitoring the developments closely.

🚒 We want to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who has reached out with their concerns. Your support and vigilance are appreciated, but please allow our Camden locals the opportunity to do their jobs. At this time, we ask for your continued patience as we work to gather accurate details.

The Pleasantville Fire Department mourns the loss of one of our brothers in the fire service, FDNY Firefighter Patrick Brady.

Firefighter Brady, 42, faithfully served the City of New York for 11 years. On Saturday, November 8th, while operating on the roof of a working fire at 9407 Kings Highway in Brooklyn, Firefighter Brady went into cardiac arrest. Despite the immediate life-saving efforts of his fellow firefighters and FDNY EMS, he tragically passed away at Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center.

Firefighter Brady was appointed to the FDNY on July 14, 2014. He began his career with Engine 227 before transferring to Ladder 120 in 2022.

He is the 1,163rd member of the FDNY to make the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

Our deepest condolences go out to Firefighter Brady’s family, his brothers and sisters of the FDNY, and all those mourning this tremendous loss.

🚒🔥 Car Fire at Bayport 1 – EHT (West AC District) 🔥🚒

Battalion 3 responded to assist with a car fire at Bayport 1 in West Atlantic City this afternoon. The vehicle was fully engulfed when we arrived, sending thick black smoke into the air.

Our firefighters jumped into action and assisted West A.C members with knocking down the flames quickly and keeping the fire from spreading. No injuries were reported, and the scene was safely cleared.

Big shoutout for a team effort and handling the job like pros! Just a reminder—if you ever see a car fire, keep your distance and call 911. We’ve got it from there! 💪🔥
