Join us October 16th, 2024 at 5:00pm at the Pleasantville Memorial Hall for an opportunity to here about the progress and ask questions about the revitalization of the East Elementary School Building.

Please add this Informational Meeting to your calendar for August 26th from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at the Memorial Hall.

Our committee is planning a presentation and open discussion about the plans and status of the Pleasantville East Elementary School building. We have invited Kristen Fish-Peterson, Owner of Redevelopment Resources, to attend and explain her plans for rehabilitating the building. City Council members are also planning to attend.

We will be offering FREE Ice cream, Pie and Brownies to all attendees

Thanks to everyone who came out to the fundraiser Saturday. We had a great time sharing food, music and stories, and we look forward to preserving our beloved East Elementary for the next 100 years.

Come LEARN about the Goals and Objectives envisioned for this Grand Old Building that has enriched our lives as we grew up there. And now, it has the possibility to continue that tradition. We want you to all know the possibilities!!

If we cant find a way to "Make if Useful" it will become a drain on our communities resources.

Invite your Friends! Bring your Lawn Chair, Relax, Learn about the potential this building still has!

One viable option is to revitalize it into 12 to 14 apartments. Marion County and Pleasantville in particular is suffering from a lack housing. This could help relieve some of the shortage.
