WE ARE RESTARTING IN PERSON BANGLA CLASS - ENROLL YOUR CHILD TODAY

Dishari has been teaching Bengali in the Bay Area since 2014, beginning with fully in‑person classes. During COVID, we shifted to online sessions for everyone’s safety. While virtual learning offers convenience, we’ve found that in‑person classes are far more effective for young learners, especially for language development and engagement.

With that in mind, we’re excited to restart in‑person Bengali classes at the Dishari Public Library.

Class Time: Every Sunday, 10:00 AM – 11:15 AM

Dishari Foundation presented Children’s Reader’s Theatre on Jun 14, 2026.
The audience were amazed with the performance of 11 young children.

Why is Children’s Reader’s Theatre so important?
It helps the kids to exercise their minds, build their confidence, and bring literature to life.

DISHARI CHILDREN’S READER’S THEATRE WILL BE BACK ON DECEMBER 13, 2026.

After our successful show and amazing feedback from the community, Dishari Bangla School is organizing a second event - Reader's Theatre for children on December 13. Most rehearsals will be online, about 3 days a week. There will be few in-person rehearsals at the Dishari Public Library in Milpitas. Kids aged from 8-16 are welcome to participate, no previous experience is required.

বিভিন্ন ব্যস্ততার মধ্যে বে এরিয়াতে অন্যতম কঠিন কাজ বাচ্চাদের বাংলা শেখানো। খুব কষ্ট করে যদি বা ক্লাসে তাদেরকে নিয়ে যাওয়া যায়, ভাষার প্রতি তাদের ভালবাসা তৈরি করাটা আরো অনেক কঠিন। সেই ভীষণ কঠিন কাজ কে, খুব সহজ করে তুলেছে আমাদের বাচ্চাদের পরিশ্রম আর তার সাথে দিশারীর শিক্ষিকাদের একনিষ্ঠ প্রচেষ্টা। তার একটা নিদর্শন দেখা যাবে আগামী রবিবার দিশারী লাইব্রেরি প্রাঙ্গনে। বাচ্চাদের শ্রুতি নাটক। রিহার্সালের মাঝে কোন প্র্যাকটিস ছাড়া ওরা যে ছোট্ট skit টা করল, সেটা থেকে ধারণা করা যায় নাটকটি কত ভালো হতে যাচ্ছে।
রবিবারের বিকেলটা ধরা থাকুক বাচ্চাদের অনুপ্রেরণার জন্য ।
