One Warrior’s Creed
If today is to be THE DAY, so be it. If you seek to do battle with me this day you will receive the best that I am capable of giving. It may not be enough, but it will be everything that I have to give
and it will be impressive for I have constantly prepared myself for this day. I have trained, drilled and rehearsed my actions so that I might have the best chance of defeating you. I have kept myself in peak physical condition, schooled myself in the martial skills
and have become proficient in the application of combat tactics. You may defeat me, but you will pay a severe price and will be lucky to escape with your life. I do not fear Death, for I have been close enough to it on enough occasions that it no longer concerns me. But I do fear the loss of my Honor and would rather die fighting than to have it said that I was without Courage. So I WILL FIGHT YOU, no matter how insurmountable it may seem, and to the death if need be,
in order that it may never be said of me that I was not a Warrior.

Solid work from the students who joined us this past Saturday for Defensive Carbine Intermediate.

This course built on the fundamentals with focused carbine handling, movement, problem-solving, and practical application under instruction.

We appreciate everyone who showed up with a serious training mindset. More opportunities to train are coming soon.

"There are no advanced techniques, only advanced application of the fundamentals." -S. Randy Watt

A lot of students think confidence comes from buying more gear, watching more videos, or jumping straight into the hardest class they can find. Confidence is built from progressing through the right stages in the right order.

First, you build safety and control. Then you build accuracy and consistency. After that, you add movement and problem-solving. Finally, you test yourself with pressure and structured scenarios.

That path matters because every advanced skill depends on the foundation underneath it. If the basics are weak, pressure exposes it. If the basics are solid, pressure becomes something you can work through.

At Warrior Creed, the goal is not to make you look good for one drill. The goal is to help you become more capable, more honest about your current level, and more prepared for the next step.

Save this roadmap if you are rebuilding confidence or trying to figure out what class fits you next.

Which stage are you in right now: 1, 2, 3, or 4?

Saturday's Defensive Pistol - Intermediate was a success. Great bunch of shooters, multiple positions, dynamic movement, distance, time constraints. They made it easy for me. Learning occurred. Bill shot the best course Qual (by far).

Most problems start when someone misses a cue, loses distance, gets distracted, or gives up their options.

A parking lot is one of the easiest places to go on autopilot. You are thinking about your phone, your keys, your bags, your vehicle, or where you are headed next. That is exactly why awareness matters.

Use this simple checklist before you move:

Scan before you step out. Keep your hands free. Manage distance early. Know your exits. Decide before stress hits.

What is the first cue you look for in a parking lot?

Pistol Training Opportunity with a World-Class Trainer!!
If you're in Utah and you're a shooter with reasonable skills, meaning you can handle and draw your pistol safely, and can put the bullets reasonably close to where they are supposed to go, and if you regularly carry concealed so you can protect yourself and your loved ones while out and about in today's threat environment, you should consider attending Jeff Gonzales' Active Shooter prep course. Jeff is a legendary trainer and former SEAL with extensive experience in high-risk environments. He served in training cadres effecting change in the SEAL community's covert carry programs and developing POIs to increase pistol proficiency. He is the owner of Trident Concepts, has worked for several firearm training entities like Gunsite, and has trained numerous top-level shooters. He was featured on the TV show Top Shot. CZ Fi****ms recently asked Jeff to join them as an ambassador, consultant, and demo shooter. This course is not just about Active Shooters, it's about developing the skills to rapidly and accurately engage dynamic threats across various distances common to active shooter events, as well as to personally improve shooting skills. It's not often someone of Jeff's level is available here in Utah. If you're interested, go to www.warriorcreed.us., click on courses, and register. I would do so quickly.

Low-light is where “range skills” get stress-tested into real-world skills. Most defensive encounters happen in dim/awkward lighting—parking lots, hallways, porches, inside vehicles—where identification, muzzle discipline, and light management matter as much as marksmanship.

Our Low Light Pistol class is filling up fast. You’ll learn when and how to use a handheld and (optionally) a pistol-mounted light, how to manage the information a light gives you (and what it gives away), and how to run your pistol safely and efficiently in the dark—with live fire.

Comfort produces consistency.
Reality produces friction.

Training that only happens in clean, quiet conditions creates skills that exist only there.

Real capability is built when friction is introduced—
elevated heart rate, degraded focus, imperfect positions, decision-making under mild chaos.

The truth of your training will show up immediately.
