Come out and show some support for the Girls Soccer team on their great season.

Tonight we had the pleasure to honor “A ride in a Firetruck” that was won at the PTC Auction. I do believe this group had a good time. (They even got to sound the horn) 😊😊😊

Today, the Fire Department had the opportunity to show the Juniors and Seniors what can occur during a Motor Vehicle Accident during our Prom Reenactment.

They got to experience first hand of what it’s like to be in need and hear from various responders concerning choices made when you get behind the wheel of an automobile.

We would like to thank our crash volunteers, Illinois State Police, States Attorney, and the Coroners Office for the words of advise you gave to the students.

Oh behalf of the Pleasant Plains Fire Department we hope you have a fun and safe prom weekend.

Update: 3:30 bus has not arrived yet
4:00pm bus in plains going along Main Street

Our 3rd place High School Girls Basketball Team is making their way back to the High School this afternoon by way of escorts.

Here is the path they will take (starting at approximately 3:30 or before)

Es**rt route: from Gardner township, south on Bradfordon Road, west on longfellow, south on Chris, west on Old Salem Lane, north on farmingdale road, west on 125 to the high school

If you are home, get outside and cheer them along on the amazing season they had.

Please use extreme caution when burning and always check the weather conditions ahead of time.

Tonight’s meeting was focused on sudden cardiac arrest. Even though we may not have a lot, we still get educated and practice for when that time comes. We are here for you. Thank you Bob Kayma from

Today we had the honor to be on stand by at the Farmingdale PTC Turkey Trot 5K. All the runners did great.
