A tornado warning has been issued for Cass County until 5:45 PM. Please seek shelter immediately.

We have received an alert for the potential for 80 mph winds being generated by the moving storm in our area until 6:00 PM. We have sounded the outdoor warning system to alert the community for the potential of the destructive winds. Please remain weather aware and take cover.

There have been numerous instances reported where people are receiving text messages from what appear to be official State (not just Missouri), agencies telling people they have outstanding traffic or toll citations, and the must be paid by such and such a date or else. Please, do not reply, send money, or any other Personally Identifiable Information to them. Do not even reply to them. Delete them and report them as Spam. They are not legitimate.
