olice Officers' Association is dedicated to professionalism, service, and camaraderie. Our members provide highly personal, dedicated, and professional services to the residents of Pleasant Hill. The Pleasant Hill Police Officers’ Association is a non-profit organization that represents the sworn men and women of the Pleasant Hill Police Department. We protect the men and women who protect the city of Pleasant Hill by protecting the rights of our members and provide them with the best possible legal representation, to negotiate for adequate benefits and competitive wages, and to support our community through donations to local programs and worthwhile charities.

What’s proposed is making 20% of an officer’s schedule for training. Not just on using force, but on de-escalation, stress inoculation, and all aspects of the job that will make us better at serving the people.

Finally! A sensible approach that benefits the community and the police...MORE training. Please encourage our local, state, and national decision makers to get on board.

Retired Navy SEAL Jocko Willink says police would benefit from more training hours with a focus on mental strength and hand-to-hand combat.

Finally! A city takes a sensible approach to improving law enforcement training. It won’t be accomplished by defunding. If it’s important to the community, then fund it properly! Schools, public safety, community programs, whatever...if we want them to be successful, we must invest and demand the best training available.
